Ljudaborg kulturförening invites you to this year’s Lödöse medieval days 2019, May 25th-26th.
Lödöse is a small town approximately 50km north of Gothenburg. The medieval city of Lödöse was a large and lively seaport, Sweden’s western frontier and Gothenburg’s medieval precursor. It was the biggest trading city in Sweden at that time.
We would really like it if you wanted to attend and brighten up the days, together with all of us and we're hoping that you want that just as much as us.
2 days of hustle and bustle we can assure you. Tournaments, craftsman, jesters, music, fights and much more. Reunions, new acquaintances and much joy and excitement.
Meet great lords and knights, fair ladies, thieves and beggars. Buy foods of all kinds, medieval weapons, fabrics, clothes, jewelleries, and much more. Don’t forget to make a visit at Lödöse Museum, to learn more about the medieval life and explore some of the historical findings from Lödöse and other cities.
This year we will have a medieval camp as well. And it will be open for the public between 12.00pm-02.00pm both days. The registration for the camp is now closed but we hope you will join our camp next year.
Welcome to us in Lödöse!
